Return to campsite 46

Sonny drove the 5th wheel over to Lake Wenatchee State Park last Thursday.  I had a wedding to attend on Saturday, Aug 1 so I stayed behind.  We had a contractor at the house building a lean-to against the carport and he finished up on Friday. The wedding was lovely but I had to dash off after the ceremony to escape the City before the roads were clogged with Seafair traffic and the Blue Angels. It was a nice ride over Route 2 though it took 15 minutes to get through the little town of Sultan due to traffic. Once over Stevens Pass, it was like driving into an oven when I got down to 2500'.  It was hot on the West side to begin with but it ramped up another 10* right away.  The lake had a nice refreshing breeze blowing.

It is my birthday so my friends gave me Birthday Cake
ice cream and an iced latte.
We needed more cover for all the equipment so
Lacroix Contracting built this addition for the truck.

Saturday, August 1 was a beautiful day for a birthday
and morning ferry ride to Seattle for a wedding.
A fellow flute friend from the Boeing Band, was married in
St James Cathedral. Massive organs, stained glass, lovely
service.

Rowena, a Boeing engineer, met John when she was on a mission trip to
Africa a few years ago.
